Sixty attendees gathered to recognize local firefighters and first responders for their service to Palm Beach County.

The chapter recognized Fire Chief Thomas Wood, Firefighter Tim Ascheman, EMS Captain Eddie Rivera, and lifeguard Craig Pollock with SAR Fire Safety and EMS commendation medals.
Sixty attendees gathered for the Firefighter and First Responder Recognition and Awards Ceremony.
The May meeting photographs also show President Boggs and former President Tidwell presenting the Knight Essay Award to high school student Charles Drucker.

Members and guests honored four law enforcement professionals whose work serves and protects the community.

The chapter honored four local law enforcement professionals with SAR Law Enforcement Commendation and Heroism recognition.
The honorees included Officers Elizabeth Waldkoetter and Adrian Rackauskas, and Chief Frank Kitzerow.
Chapter member and State Department Special Agent Jeffrey Joyner was also honored, with an individual medal presentation pictured in the newsletter.

Dr. Donald Gladney shared practical cyber safety advice, and the chapter supported Palm Beach State College with a $1,000 scholarship donation.

Dr. Donald Gladney of Palm Beach State College shared cyber-security threats and practical ways to protect against cybercrime.
The chapter presented Palm Beach State College with a $1,000 student scholarship donation.
Florida Society President Colonel P. Niemann attended and recognized the chapter’s 81st year of service.
